Okay maybe not such a big deal, have heard if you can, get a 49 state model. but that was back when the bike was new and made. so it comes to me that I may have a Ca. model after looking for a fuel line location I find I have a 3rd breather line found mostly on Ca, models. Okay that's cool, anyone know what other little differance there is? I've read that the Ca version was a wee bit down on power due in part to emmsions breathers and the like? not that I've noticed that, she rocks pretty darn good, But now that I know what I have, I want to know more.

Well, according to my manual, on the Cali models there is an Evap CAV Control Valve outboard of the #3 cylinder.

    Carb Id #s:
    49 state - VP34A
    Cali model - VP33A

Valve timing is different and they weigh more, too. Two to three more pounds so nothing major.

I see that now that I spent like an hour going through the whole Manual, so looks like after all that I do have a 49 state model.
