Evening all. I've just got a hel delink kit and was wondering if anyone has done this on here. I've looked on YouTube and other platforms but can't seem to find any 6th gen only 5th. Controversial topic I know. But I hate those linked brakes. My first bike with them and they feel awful not to mention a pain to bleed

May be a bit late and not be relevant any more, and I rarely pop in on this forum, but I delinked my CBS last year. The bike feels much better and is so much easier to bleed.
It is now operating on only five pistons on the front, but I cant feel any imbalance or deterioration in performance. The secondary brake cylinder is bypassed using the kit and simply filled with brake fluid which prevents the CBS operating. It passed its UK MOT with no issues whatsoever and in fact was not even noticed by the tester.
In short, if you dont like the way the linked system feels (I dont!}, and want easier brake bleeding, I recommend doing it.

I know there's a lot of ways to skin a cat, but that Hel kit sure gives me a wedgie...
    Best wishes
