I have an 86 700 f I bought for a whopping $100 had an electric problem, mechanic said the stator was out. Got a new stator, but I'm having problems finding the puller. Can anyone point me in the right direction. thanks.

YOU'll LOVE this great trick that worked for me!! I pulled the flywheel by removing the bolt, placing some washers under the bolt, tightening it a few turns, placing some MORE washers under the bolt and tightening it some more, etc.....until the bolt pulled the rotor off!! cost nothing! you could also use a right-sized ballbearing! being cheap and poor teaches creative solutions. Wooooooooo!
