    Hi all
New to the forum and this is a long shot but one of the guys on the facebook group suggested this might be an option.

I am an Australian coming to the USA in early May with my wife and planning on doing a month long tour around. ( primarily west coast )

Looking for someone that might be interested in doing a bike swap. I have a fully set up DL1000 in Australia available to swap for your set up VFR for a month.

Doesn't need to be done at the same time as it's not my daily rider. ( which is a KTM1190)

I am a mature aged rider with over 40 years riding experience in various countries. Last year I toured Europe and particular the IOM TT on a bike that was lent to me by a friend in London and I am sure he would be happy to supply a reference.
I would pay for a full service and a new set of tyres upon completion of the trip.

Ideally the bike would be set up with panniers Topbox and GPS.
I have always liked the VFR but never owned one and thought this might be a good opportunity to have an extended ride on one.

As I said I know it's a long shot and some people would never allow anyone to ride their bike and I get that, but perhaps you considering a ride down under and this might be a way to make it affordable and enjoyable.

Details would nee to worked out regarding insurance and any damage etc
If anyone is interested I would love to hear from you.

    Cheers
    Guy

Welcome! Glad to see you here~

Give this thread a couple of days to gain some steam.

If you were coming to the east coast, I'd be over the moon to do a swap like this. Australia is on my bucket list of places to tour!
