Okay, I'm new to my VF750F and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. When I try and lock the handle bars the rear tail and license plate light stay lit up. I must be missing something right? Wiring crossed up? It's almost as though the ignition turns to "Accessories" or something.

Thanks. I'll mess around with the gears and see if it'll shut off.

On my 83 you have to turn the front wheel full left or right first. Then push key downward, turn key left to first indent, that's park with lights on. Continue turning key left and it goes in to lock. Lights off.

Your key cylinder may need some WD40 lube. Could be sticking.?

    Exactly.

One turn past the setting of rear lights on.

    Handlebars turned all the way

There is just one fuse in the "park" circuit; pull the fuse out, and you won't need to worry about the lights draining your battery.

Then why put it in park? It doesn't lock in that position. So why even use it then? I'm confused...............................

It's more of a "Stopped on the side of the road....need people to see me from behind" feature. No?

Thanks guys, still no luck though. Bars turned full left, key past off to the first indent, lights on. Key past the indent and lights are still on. I also can't seem to find a fuse for just the "PARK" circuit either. Bars turned full right and the lock won't engage at all.
