Lowering my 2009 vfr800?????

    Does any one know what kit i need to lower my 2009 vfr800???? In the rear at least 2 inches!!! Thanks

    Hope this helps and welcome to the site.

    Most lowering kits are for 1" only. You will not find a 2" setup, too dangerous, as the bottom of the fairing will be hitting the ground and you will be dragging hard parts on a regular basis. Also the potential exists that you might have the front fender impacting the oil cooler when the forks are fully compressed.

    were to find??

    thanks!!! were would i find that 1" lowering kit....cant seem to find any for that year!!

    how long have you been riding the bike?? If not long, just keep riding.......because the more miles you put on any bike, the more confidence you will gain and the smaller the bike will feel. i know this cuz i'm only 5' 4 1/2 " and it did take some time to get adjusted to my '97, but it feels great now.

    You can lower things without messing up the handling by getting the seat foam cut down, at the cost of some butt discomfort on long rides.

    If you really feel like you need a 2" lower seat, you bought the wrong bike.
