Got red 99 vfr and only thing on bike is the gray metallic Honda tank decal. Is that all that came on it or has body panels been repainted?
My 2000 VFR came with factory decals on the lower cowls on both sides that say VFR in a stylized type of font. Could be that the previous owner repainted parts of the bike, or it could be that they just didn't like the looks of the decals and removed them. If the bike has been repainted, you find evidence in the way of paint overspray on the back side of the panels in question.
