I know here we go...a newbie.
How hard is it to convert an 86 vfr from a regular swingarm to single sided?

    before squirrelman jumps on this.....

    Can I ask, "why?"

rings of the old addage, silk purse/sows ear kinda thing. A running '86 sells for the same amount as a 3rd gen of same condition. Sell the '86 and upgrade to a 3rd or 4th gen if you want to update.

However, welcome to the forum man!

WHAT, ANOTHER "squirrelman's a dick reference??" an evil, freakin, preverted misfit animal molester ?? That might be true.......actually.

Anyway, Tinki couldn't have said it better.

And Toe , despite his contrary claims, has been the ONLY one here who has the skillz and smarts to accomplish this diffiCULT conversion.

Yea, I was corrected. If you have too much time on your hands and unlimited resources at your fingertips - maybe enough coors light to kill - anything can be done.

    Too phuny!!!
I do see your points. Understood.
I would like to play with this one a bit first.
Maybe put some CBR 600 wheels on it and make it a bit like a factory race bike...seen pics...looked good too.
And yes you are all WHACK...ah...home at last.
