I have 2 bikes in need of new shoes, a 2000 VFR and a 89 Honda Hawk GT. I was wondering if anyone has used Pirelli Diablo Sports on a VFR? If so, how do they compare to the stock Dunlop 204's which I think suck? Several people on this site say that the Metzeler M1 is the way to go, so I'm leaning towards them for both bikes. The reason I inquire as to the Pirelli's is because AZMOTORSPORTS has them on sale for $180 a set. I was also wondering if anybody has any experience with widening their rims? My 89 Hawk GT had the front wheel widened, by the previous owner, to accept a larger tire. The stock size was 110/70 and now it has a 120/70. The bike handles like its magnetically attached to the ground, so I think it works out pretty good. The assclown at the local Honda dealer however WILL NOT sell me anything except what his computer says is the stock size. Thanks for any info 8) RIDE WELL 8) HWORTH
