Well here it goes for a first post, as I've found reading all the others quite useful.

I have a Interceptor that is getting chopped up... (dont worry, I love them also so I have another with all mint plastics for then next "Showroom Quality" project....) Pix will come eventually....

My issue is the headlight. Fuses good, aware of start pushbutton switch issue ( got learned on that with the Hurricane... ) have tried a) original switch, b) Second VF500F switch c)600Hurricane switch. No joy.

I have no voltage on either white or blue wires (using green as ground) using any switch, and have been fussing with it for hours and as my brain is wandering, figured I'd just throw this out there and maybe someone who hasn't been overwhelmed with wires would see what I'm missing. Had headlight straight on battery, works just fine.

I appreciate any thoughts guys..... thanks in advance :)

I'm no 500 guru, but it sounds like you may have a broken wire. With everything hooked up as it should be check the circuits individually at the headlamp with a multimeter (+ @ headlamp - @ battery or known good ground then switch - @ headlamp + directly from battery). Once you isolate which side of the circuit/wiring is faulty it should be a quicker job to hunt down the open/high resistance/broken wire, etc.

Told you guys I was burnt. Lol. Turned out the contacts in the switch weren't actually making a connection.... the little spring behind the contacts was gone, hence not forcing the contacts together... Duh. Problem solved. Thanks for the help guys. It's much appreciated :)
