My previous rides have had double-sided swingarms. The axle alignment marks have always been wrong but one can, using string or laser, find a rear axle position that is superior.

Would someone please enlighten me as to how wheel and sprocket alignment are done on the current VFR? Are there shims at the swingarm shaft?

I think the last time this came up, the answer was that you don't have to worry about the alignment on the SSSA because if it was out, it would be obvious. Now if someone is modifying the SSSA to another bike, then I think they would have to use some type of shim or something. I have never gotten into that kind of job though so I couldn't really say...

Thanks. What if it's out a little and you want it better? Anyone?
