    I can help...

Learn to ride correctly & quit being a dumbass by asking how to do a wheelie via the internet.

You'll find that the squid mentality is not too popular around here.

    That is all.

    KC-10 FE out...

Hey dude - I gotta admit I am with KC on the squid crap. I do like stunt shows that are organized with trained riders who do not practice on the public roads. First, like da man said learn to ride correctly (get some training if you want and learn more about motorcycle suspension - I am a student for life but that is me). If you still want to stunt on your bike then check this link for training: On One Wheelâ„¢ has the solution to getting it up... one small step at a time. :: On One Wheel, a Motorcycle Wheelie School

I am not a stunt rider but I do know how to wheelie and endo. I go to the Air Field or vacant factory areas in NYC and LI - take the plastics of the bike and let her rip. Not very respoonsible, but not done on public roads or around anyone - I am not gonna perform for free for people who want to see me bust my arse - lol.

Also, most dirt riders will tell you not to wheelie in 1st gear - and I have to add do not wheelie on public roads whether there are cars or people there does not matter. It can be tempting but so are other things.

I had a response to this thread written last night and chose otherwise. I was curious to see if anyone, ANYONE would actually respond to this thread. I should have known the Pilot would come through.

KC-10 FE, I would like to meet you sometime. Every time I read a response from you I can't help but picture Walter from the Jeff Dunham comedy routines. Are you familiar?

    KC, you do freaking rule!!:cheersaf:

    Yeah, what KC said!

Or, you could just let off the gas, gas on, gas off to get the front to dip down and as the front end rebounds up just give it a little more gas and up you go.
    Peace out.:vtr2:

yeah, I just saw this guy the other day. Pretty funny. He wasn't the best ventroloquist I've seen but it's so rare to see one make it very far anymore. His show was pretty funny, though.

try this: go to a BMW motorcycle site and ask over there how to wheelie and see what kind of comments come back.........

The VFR is the" gentleman's sportbike," and gentlemen don't act like 20 year old idiot showoff irresponsible wheelie kids.

These gentleman obviously had some mechanical difficulties at the right time. The first had his clutch hydraulic line burst at the wrong time during warming up his bike. And the other two are at different stages of getting their front brakes unstuck. These poor gentleman are merely trying to make the ride for the Tea & Crumpet Diabetes Benefit. It really all about the children.:bs:

I haven't met KC in person, but I feel like I have sort of gotten to know him over the past few years. I was in the military and had a couple friends in his AFSC even... so I have probably a better than average understanding of his viewpoint. While he and I do not necessarily agree on some things, I am quite certain we'd get along swimmingly especially once we started hitting the booze and cigars!

I ride all the time in the area just south of Easton. The weather is supposed to suck for the next week so sometime next spring we can always go for a ride.

Yeah, I know Walter. He's pretty much a puppet version of my Father.

Itl take 8 or 9 k rpms and a litlte practice. your right, dont pop the clutch. Your probably just affraid of going to far and flipping the bike. I know how that feels.

try this. Do it with a rolling start. get about 5 or so mph goin then do it.

thatl get you started. pratice will do the rest.

remember to be aware of what is around you. you dont want to get ran over if you do happen to bite the pavement.
