    id imagine that oil sloshing away from the pick up on them big wheelies might starve bearings of oil pressure could have somethin to do with it ya think. :homer:

    I watched this as I also own an MT-10 with a similar engine. The key point here was that the rider was racing the R1 professionally and datalogging showed repeated overrevving due to downshifting too fast into bends.

    Which is funny, because downshifting when the revs are that high sucks as a rider.
