When I moved to Phoenix for summer once with just my bike, I was doing student housing. I had beforehand tried to get my own place, but finding a month to month lease seemed nearly impossible. Does anyone know about a resource for finding cheap lodging out west NM, AZ, TX, CA for when you are just wanting to experience a life of riding on a low income?

My only joy now seems to come from looking at a future of living this way.

Hi I read your last line in this post several times because I could not believe someone else felt like this too. Did you find a resource for living on the cheap? What about tools and maintenance? I have other 2 wheeled addictions, a kayak and a dog. So I was thinking about buying a sturdy camping converted vehicle and trailer. It's important to have the toys and tools. Not sure if MotoGuild on Treasure Island has a classified board, but you could try it for the SF Bay Area or PM me

I didn't find anything yet but Trailer parks are good if they are not just for the elderly.
