Thanks for the info. I am afraid that like you, I am smack in the middle of some of the most boring roadways in terms of motorcycle riding that there is this side of Nebraska. Basically have to get down to around the I-70 area and South before you will find much in the way of anything in this direction. Galena / NW tri-state area has some decent roads not sure if you have ever been up that way... have done some of the Great River Road many years back. For me the real answer has always been to get out of the state.

Hey, I've had my bike for over a year and have thought I was the only one in town. Glad to hear that's not the case. There arent many scenic rides around here. I like to go up to Starved Rock. Some twisties up there but slow speeds. Another sunday ride I take is over to Peoria and follow the river down to Beardstown or farther south depending on how I feel. After I make repairs we will have to hook-up for a ride. Justin
