So.i posted a message the other day with a video asking about possible cam chain tensioner failure. We left the vfr800 at home and headed off on our trip up north in new Zealand. What do we see for sale on the side of the road? A 2009 vfr800 with a hideous paint job, but low kilometers and a nice price. We stop and chat with a very nice guy, family man moving over seas. We test ride it accept the asking price and change our holiday. Tonight we are resting because we have to shoot 300 km home get a car and come back the next morning to get it lol life is funny man Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
good for you. I often wonder, if my VFR finally packs it in, will I get another one. If I do, it would have to be a fifth or 6th gen though. The eighth gen is too cramped in the knees for me. The 7th gen...well..... I also have a BMW F800 GS and don't have any feelings towards that bike at all. Did you resolve your cam chain tensioner issue with the other bike?
Just recently the old man and I both got Candy Red VFR800 (6th Gen) his is a 2010 and mine is a 2007. He had a 2006 back 10 or so years ago, I had a 4th Gen back then which I crashed so I have had time watching others and now it is my turn again!!
