2wheel...I still need to look at that site, but I'm sure at least one new QT in town will have it. They are tearing down the old QTs and making super QTs everywhere.[IMG]

Good for you finding clean gas. According to Drifting's assessment of fuel, you are locked into 87 octane. I agree that most digital fuel management machines are made to use 87 octane and they run better on it. Major gas station pure gas is even better. I found 91 octane only at Mobil. It seems that many here, mostly power-sport users are enjoying it. I met a guy buying it Saturday while I was gassing up and he was putting it in his generator. He had to rebuild it after damage from ethanol gas. We are all using it in all of our power equipment.

I want to know what you think about it after a tank or 2 of running pure gas through your great bike!

    Good on ya OH AM!!

Gator, I pay $2.41 for the genuine article here in town in Dixie. That's around the going price, more or less, where ever I buy it. At over 40mpg. that's a deal considering how the machine runs on it. I've found that if you keep your eyes open, many rural gas stations have it. I guess farmers and a certain VFR rider have a need for it.....; )

The Mobil pure gas premium is $3.05. No complaints on the cost from me. It has been going in all power equipment and dirt bikes over the summer. And if you end up storing it over the winter it can last a long time in sealed steel gas cans. According to JP Racing fuel, gas in steel cans can last for years.

No stations around here in the bay area either. Just watched a YouTube video on how to extract ethanol from gas. Quite simple actually, add water with food coloring (easier to see demarcation line) to gas in a container with a spigot on the bottom. Shake up and let settle, water will mix ethanol and settle to the bottom. Drain water/ethanol mix out and bingo, ethanol free gas. Don't know the octane of what is left, but Amsoil makes an octane additive for racing. Has anyone tried this?

For you guys and gals that are stuck with E10: This article I researched today should set your mind at ease about E10. Yes it is about boating but should sum it up by myth-busting which we all need at some point. Enjoy! Ed

I can buy pure gas premium a half mile from my abode but premium runs really bad in every VFR I've had including real gas premium. So, I buy real gas regular and my VFR screams on it.

The real gas at the QT was 2.31 per gallon. I got it for 1.41 per gallon with my QT rewards.
