Sportbike riding courses??? Know of any?

    Ok, I'm absolutely lovin' this bike, red 03, done some minor mods,pazzos,pair valve, heli's, throttlemeister , exhaust surgery tomorrow. The thing is, it has way more potential than I have ability right now, I've ridden dirt bikes forever but my only real street experience has been on cruisers and Harleys:bs:. Hey ,who threw that tomato !!!! Anyhow my question is: Are there any sportbike riding courses or schools I can go to? I live in Ontario Canada but would consider a road trip if I need to, just seems like there is soooo much potential in these bikes waiting to escape. Any ideas, Thanx all.

    However, get and read his book thoroughly. he's got a website.


    then, Keith Code's class.

    invest in a good bicycle.

    There is one in Florida run by Fast Freddie Spencer and another one that is suggesed by Honda Riders CLub that is held in Las Vegas. The Vegas school rents VFRs. Spenceer is a Suzuki school so you'd be riding SV650s. I looked into thes but since I do not own Full Leathers, gloves and boots it would cost to much to get that stuff and the class for me.

    Sports Bike Classes near Austin, TX

    Anyone know of any of these classes that happen in Austin?

    ????????????? Freddie Spencer School in Florida & on Suzuki's????????????????

    Thats news to me, since his schools are Honda Sponsered & The only 2 locations I know of is Las Vegas & @ MMP in Tooele, Utah (Winter in Vegas & Summer in Utah) although maybe there's a new change ????.
    Also I did the Freddie school in Vegas & the Gear & CBR600RR's are part of the class provided (OK rental for the leathers, but I had my own).

    But back to the subject, There are lots of schools out there & you will never be critized for adding to your info/learning on how to be a better rider.

    I Rider Coach @ tracks & have been riding since 7 (47 now :redface:) & I still take classes & read up when I can.

    Your brain is a sponge, so use it to suck up all the info it can !
