Yesterday, suited up to ride to work, tried to start the bike, it rolled over, almost started and nothing. Kept rolling over and smelled like it was flooded (I know, it's injected.....smelled lots of gas though). Got home tonight and tried it again.....same thing but no gas smell. I'm going to tie into it tomorrow, but wondered if anyone had this happen and knew where to start. I'll look at fuses, plugs, etc. Any other ideas? Thanks and ride safe.

Got out the manual, read the "won't start" section. Tried the flooded start procedure and viola! Started. I have no idea how I could have flooded it. Works good now, lasts long time.

Glad it was an easy fix. Sorry no one had any good info for ya. I know I was stumped.
Now go get all that extra fuel out of there by flogging her for a while.

I'm curious as to what caused the problem originally--no spark? Bad gas? Sorry, I can't find a flatulence smiley, but you know what I mean.

I had the same thing happen to mine when I first got it out this season. The flooded enigne procedure worked for me too. I traced mine back to old, bad gasoline. I drained out the gas, filled it with Amoco super (supposed to have the most cleaners in it) and some fuel injector cleaner. No problems since.
