Welcome to the VFR bug..... I have investigated the snot out of this issue. Seems like the best answer comes from our british friends who are more thana little fanatical about this issue. I have followed thier cue and seem to have overcome most of this with re-balancing the starter valves. Make sure that your service center does it right!

I love these guys.... I really do......

Welcome Gary!! I ride pretty much everyday to work as well, and then on the weekends for fun. We will definitely have to get all of us VFR riders out for a ride together. RVFR and I are pretty active on pnwriders.com as well. There are lots of rides being planned all the time. Sunday I went with a big group (31 bikes) to Mt. Rainier and Yakima, but I was the only VFR. RVFR had a ride going on down in Mist, OR and I think he was the only VFR.

    Glad to see you here!

Hi Gary, Big Welcome, good choice on the VFR, My favorite.. yes if you can lots going on in the way of rides here in the PNW thats why i'm hooked up in PNWriders.com still think we should get a VFR section there.

Just did a quick read through on the thread, and how cool!! It sounds great, I second the idea of crashing:peace: Now all I have to do is look through the schedule tomorrow at work and get it all set up.

I'd go - I will be in CHI for business the week before so a big ride will be great. Keep me updated.

    The old saying...

So just food for thought, the old saying is that you never see a motorcycle parked in front of a shrink's office - but since my father in law also rides and is a shrink, where do I park when I go to visit?

    Crash It!

Newport's about a 50 mile ride for me.
There's a nice loop using Hwy 20 and Hwy 34.
Philomath, Alsea, Waldport, Newport. Seems like it is somewhere around 125 miles.

PNW riders - what do you say to a ride to the East on Saturday? A few riders from work suggested a 101 loop of about 12 hours, but the weather looks more like East is better. Any suggestions - maybe hit Lake Chelan? Meet in Issaquah or Fall City in the AM?

Ha - good question! Not sure where he parks his bike. But I know that he uses that as a way to prove to his clients that they need to ride to keep from going crazy(ier!) :)
