Wow, both of them are dumbasses. Beats the guy I ran into a couple weeks ago with armor all on his tires, not just the sidewalls. Thanks for the laugh.

Sort of reminded me of a place I worked at so many years ago I care not to remember. I worked at a place in Winnipeg called Advance Radio and TV. I was a radio installer back when we installed more 8 track tape players than cassettes. We had a car jockie tht always tried to help out. Some guy brought in a brand new pick up truck and wanted speakers mounted up hight in the rear corners inside. This car jockey proceeded to install these. In doing so, he drilled four holes right through the roof to the outside. Needless to say he was not allowed to work on any of the instals again. Strictly jockey the cars. I wonder how good he was at that?

If I want to mount something on my gas tank I can just weld it right on, right? I don't have to drain the tank or anything.
I dare say that we all have been there or somewhere nearby. I have my share of stupid things I've done that I won't talk about....... It still doesn't get him off the hook, though. What a dipshit. I like the guy on the first page who immediately tried to sell him an ecu. I bet he would have given him a good deal.

I've tried and tried to find the friend's(fabricators) name and I just can't! I'm desperately in need of some work on my bike and he sounds like someone that knows his sheet!! If you don't get it there is some serious sarcasm in the above sentences.

Sucks to be the guy with the holy ecu. I bet if he opened it up he could resolder some stuff and have it running in no time(not).

Hahahahaha wow. I had to make a jack and coke and read page after page of that thread! Funny thing is I had a buddy who did the same thing on his 06 gsxr for a toggle switch for led lights. The ecu now hangs on his livingroom wall!!

The "mechanic" probably sued the drill, ECU, and bike manufacturer, and anyone else he could...and won. Nahhhh, we don't need no stinkin' tort reform.
