Quick Staintune Question...

    For those of you that have the 6th gen 'Tunes, do they include a heat shield for the down pipe that's near the pillion's right leg? The stock exhaust has one here, but I've never seen a pic of that part of the Staintunes. If anyone has such a pic, I'd appreciate a posting. Another rider reported melting his boot heel there, so I'm curious if anyone else has this problem...

    No heat shield is included. I've never had my boot melt sans the heat shield.

    I was worried about that also when I first installed mine. I've had no problems. I recall reading something in the installation paperwork that the Staintune set-up runs cooler than stock, perhaps that's why they don't include one.

    My question is.
    Does exhaust system will need a new ECU or you can just re map your ECU to the system.
