Official VFR sighting thread

Frenchtown, NJ. About 10:30 am on Sunday, October 12th.

Not only did I spot another VFR, but I got to spend a minute chatting with the owner. I saw his 2000 Yellow parked, so I had to park right next to him, considering mine is yellow also. No sooner do I have my helmet off than he shows up. We had a nice chat.
Never got his name, or if he is on this sight.

Let him hop on my bike for a moment since he had a stock seat and I have a Corbin, just so he could get an idea of how the Corbin feels.

He questioned about my my (supposed) Race Tech, but alas, I had to inform him it was only a sticker that the previous owner had placed on the bike.

 

Just saw an early gen RWB buzz by work.....Hwy 401 in Raleigh. Also saw a real clean red 4th gen at Triangle Cycles during their open house. Anybody here?

White VFR ridden by a female following another bike...Was too busy looking at the VFR o no idea what the other was... Middle of Milford during Pumpkin Festival

101a saw a Red 6th Gen (2003) a few weeks ago he said "Hi Nice bike" and took off through traffic like the wind...

101a as well last week maybe the week before saw a red 5th Gen..

 

Very clean yellow 5th gen in Cunningham State park Maryland.

 

saw a red don't know what gen but not to far off from mine(an 07) it was wednesday night after work in San Francisco around 6pmish. you took off at the stop light on market and got on the freeway. I was right behind you untill we hit the 101 / 80 split. you lost me right around the big s-turn before army st.

Aslo so another red (again might be around my year) parked at CCSF. I was on my way to class and you were I think getting on your way. that was about 2wks ago.

 

i met the owner of a silver i belive 6th genor 5th gen the other day he actually works for cycle gear here in town told him about the ite hopefully he joins up

 

Saw a black 6th gen heading west on Continental in Merrimack about 6PM Friday.

 

I saw a sweet Yellow 5th gen this am.

OH, wait, that was mine. Nevermind.

I did see a Silver 6th Gen this weekend on Lewis Rd near Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo, CA.

I saw a White 6th Gen with a Kagayama Shoei Helmet hanging off the left side of the bike on Saturday afternoon 4:00 in front of the Toyota dealership at Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA. Looked pretty clean but with the weather as hot as it was so should've been riding!

 

Me I'll bet taking the long way home from work:smile:

 

Well, it would have been the long way to Merrimack. :smile: The bike went out to Amherst St. and made a left toward Nashua.

 

Well maybe I was just going the REALLY long way home. The wife was out for the evening and I was just out to ride. Almost got killed on Amherst tho. I hate going riding during the evening commute.

 

Last Sunday, I went to a car show in Peddlers Village, PA with my neighbor & his friend. On the way home, I saw the same guy I saw a month ago. It's a yellow 00 VFR in the vicinity of KWRI. I call shenanigans. I am supposed to be the only yellow 00 VFR in the vicinity of KWRI.

Last Sunday (10/26) 7:45AM, late model RWB witth Blue hardbags going south on 134 by Griffiths Park. Took the 5 towards LA, probably going to the Love ride in Glendale. I was on Black & White second gen on my way to ride with VFRD and BTE guys on ACH.

 

6th Gen spotted in Mineola NY on Pershing Pkwy.

 

Hey No fair, VFR's are rare in Michigan but especially rare in November so
yes I seen one.......Its a red 5th gen and I have seen it twice a day in the
same spot for the past 5 days.....Its in my garage
