86 vfr700f swap motor from 84 1000f will it fit

    Looking for some one that has put a 1000 motor into a 700 frame. I have a 1986 vfr700f and a 1984 vf1000f I would like to put the 1000 in the 700 will it fit.

    does the 700 run? Ill buy the engine covers if it doesent.

    sorry i dont know about swaping the engines.

    Nope, the VF1000F engine will not fit in the VFR chassis. The 86-87 bikes are a LOT different from the earlier models.
