You don't have anyone from your past whose current actions you don't approve of? Or anyone currently who made a mistake in their past? I know I do, more than a few. Besides there is nothing saying Obama assocciated with Blago anymore than would be normal for a senator and the govenor of the state. In fact, in the inditment there is a transcript of a conversation Blago had where he derides Obama, saying F**k him, because Obama refuses to pay ball with Blago and offer anything but appreciation for support for Obama's prefered candidate.

Yeah that was a horrible time in our government, the deficit was being paid down, instead of going up to record, staggering really, levels. We weren't involved in any sort of "wars." We still had a good reputation in international circles. Unemployment was low. The vice president didn't think he made his own laws.
You can't really start a bunch of new people, realistically, you need people who know how the system works to get things done.

I didn't think it was cold Randy because it doesn't make any sense.

Based upon what that picture says you can have an argument ANYWHERE but the internet and you are not a retard. But once its placed on the internet its official. I guess this is why no political debates happen between canidates on the net. Hmmm...must have missed this rule in my copy of "Internet Rules and Procedure".

So I guess we need to transfer this thread to a party phone line to be retard free?

Its just one of those fierce internet insult posters designed to piss off the person/ people it's aimed at; nothing more.

To repeat what I said in my original post, "I could be dead wrong, but it just doesn't ring true that Barry is involved in any way with the sale of his Senate seat." Seems pretty clear and nonacusatory to me, no?

Thank you. I appreciate not being on your list. Hard to believe, though, that there could actually be 100 people out there who are impressed with your shameful post. Making cruel fun of those less fortunate than you is cold and pretty low.

David Axelrod seems to have previously commented in an interview contradicting statements by Obama stating contact with Blago.. regarding filliing his vacated senate seat!

This is going to be interesting as it unfolds, albeit a bit tiring as in "here we go again." Of course if it were President Bush and his boys and girls, they would have already been tried and convicted by the so-called unbiased media, with 24/7 coverage spouting theories, rumors, innuendo, falsehoods, and outright lies.

Obama's going to be our President. I didn't vote for him, I'm disappointed that he prevailed, and I don't think he will be good for this country. But I will give him the benefit of the doubt, wish him the best, support him if and when I can, and I'll afford him the respect that anyone in that office deserves. He will, after all, be my President, too.

I think the elected officials in every level of government have forgotten that they are public servants first. There seems to be an attitude of royality with our wealthy politicians. And it can't be denied that they are all wealthy, on both sides of the aisle. They proport to represent the middle class but......well enough said.

OBAMA just screwed up again; the BEST appointment for Secy. of Agricuture would have been the Texas Ag. comissioner, JIM HIGHTOWER, a progressive liberal and journalist.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but I'm impressed with President Elect Obama's chosen security team. Looks solid.
