Thats how it was written on a package I recieved about a month ago. It was hard to make out the street name and he only wrote O.for the state, I assume it is Ohio . Hope this helps.

He's still around, probably just busy, someone said to try him in the evening.

Called today, got a hold of him. He got slammed at the end of the summer when everyone ordered for their "winter project". He's getting caught back up.

He had to stop selling on ebay because there were so many orders.

I'm just glad he's ok.... so yeah, he said hold tight and he's going to try and tie things up ASAP.

He probably had to make the things you ordered from scratch. Not a process that it's good to rush!

first off Frodo, I feel for you, hopefully he comes thru on the parts, I hear his work is really good. second, and this is food for thought, if I were to call you on your cell, a number that is not publicly known, and said hi, My name is crusty, and you owe me parts or money..... how would you react...... you also talked to him last month.... and he said he was slammed and to hang tight..... its only been about six weeks hand tight I'm with you on wanting your parts but be a little patient.

on calling the police, well thats your perogative, I would have started with the BBB.

and sent registered letters explaining your avenue of recourse to Chuck.
I'm not sure where you live, but for 260 bucks, the police may not touch it and tell you to try civil action.
I am familiar with having sent the money and having a deadline for delivery come and go. 12 months past due (Medieval recreation) what it sounds to me like is Chuck got in over his head on orders and is having trouble playing catch up.

Not intending on pissing anyone off.

How long has it been? It took Chuck 2.5 months to make the parts for my bike but I would give him some more time. I've heard of guys waiting longer than that. The stuff he makes is great. It does need some minor pinholes and burn throughs filled in on the gelcoat before you can paint it, otherwise your bike will look like a work in progress. Fiberglass work is a real drag, so I would say if he's willing to do the work good for him and you. One thing though: he should be more realistic with delivery estimates. And he should quit telling little fibs to help buy some more time. I've run into this before (myself included) where guys will take all the money up front and then not get motivated after getting paid. Thing is he's got you over a barrel. Plus he's not running a Wal Mart - this is his show. He works full time as a welder then comes home and grinds fiberglass - ughh. Thank God I'm out of that game - I was living and breathing fiberglass and body filler dust all day then taking it home with me. That will take you to the grave early. Better get those panels quick or you'll be making them yourself.

After 6 months of waiting, the rear on-piece tail fairing is in my hands.... Very well packed, no damage.

Is it nice? OH YEAH!!!! He did a great job. Smooth finish, trimmed really nice, drilled nicely. No flaking that I can see. Its A+.

Was it worth waiting 6 months? I dunno....I'm thinking it would be if he'd be more responsive to email/phone.

Would I do business with him again? If I wanted perfection, yes.
