KBB lists the trade in for $7915 for an RC45. The retail is $11090. I didn't check NADA, but those figures should give you an idea where to start...

They use to have a brand new one in the show room a couple years ago. Even better I think it was one of the first made. A sales guy told me they had two and when sold thier was mess up and the bikes got swaped some how and the owners got really pissed and messed the deals up many years ago.

Ok. But why are you YELLING? I ran the stats today. I don't think KBB takes into account whther a bike is considered collectible. But as I originally posted, it should give you some idea where to start.

Bike is worth way more then what KBB says if it's mint with those kind of miles it's work over 20k. I've seen them fetch over 15k on ebay needing work. I'd love to have one also would like an RC30.

I'm still wondering if you called the place I posted? If I remember correctly when I saw the one I mentioned $14,000 was the price tag on it with ZERO miles and very low vin number which made it worth even more over later ones.

    Hi Joe,
I guess you managed to sell your RC30 eh!

I think that your gut instincts are correct and the RC45 will demand more $ than any organization says that it should. I think it is far more rare than the RC30 was and this one has really low mileage. I have not seen one on the market to get any kind of base line for the model. The last one I saw was for sale in Canada about two months ago and it was around $20k if I recall.

Not as pretty as the RC30 but I suppose it is more advanced in many ways.

    Happy hunting!

    P.S.
I hope your RC30 found a suitable new home where it will be as loved as when you owned it.

I was reading last night that only 20 units were imported into Canada and I don't know how many in the states. The RC45 is a rare beast even more so that the RC30. The price tag on the RC45 was more than double that of the RC30 when they hit the market.

Strange that the RC51 came out as a mass produced machine after the homologation specials.

You are a lucky man Rod! Looking forward to seeing some nice pictures when it arrives. Oh that reminds me, where did you find it?
