84 vf700f exhaust

Hi, I am about to buy an old 84 vf700f which doesnt have exhaust pipes. I looked on ebay but the only exhaust pipes/mufflers I could find were from an 84 vf1000f and an 85 vf700f. Do these things cross over easily between models? Thanks a lot!

 

The first pic is the mufflers. Either bike would work. The mounting tabs on the 1000 may be different. The second pic the 85 700 would work but not the 1000. It's different by a tad or so.

 

VF1000 pipes will not work, but the 85 VF700F ones will. Good luck!

 

Thanks for the responses. If the 84 vf1000f pipes wont work, will these? Seller says theyre from a 84-85 vf500f.

 

The only pipes that will fit are VF700F or VF750F from model years 1983-85, nothing else will work.
