i want to change my shifting to gp shift or race shift. if you don't know what im talkin about don't worry about it. if you've done it can you give me an idea what mods need to be done to make it happen. especially on an first or second gen.

    nobody huh..

it's where your shift pattern is 1 up six down opposite of the standard shift. just curious to see if anyone is running it on their vfr and how hard it is to make the mod.

Well, its on my 'to-do' list, but I haven't gotten much further than that. I do know you will need different rearsets; I was looking at ones from a CBR900RR to see how they would work.

You need a new set of rearsets with a shift linkage. The original shifter is mounted directly to the shift shaft. Just curious, why are you wanting to do this?
