Ride Sunday April 5

Spring has sprung...time to ride!

Meet: Wendel's in Fort Langley (Glover Road and the train tracks -downtown Ft. Langley) at 12:45 - 1:00 PM

Ride 3-4 hours, getting back for diner. We'll hit the back roads of Langley, Abbotsford, Chiliwack, Aggasiz, Mission and Maple Ridge. Finish the ride North side of the Fraser. You can cross at the Albion Ferry or continue West on #7 (as I will) back into the city. We will stop for breaks as req.

Get the chores done Saturday! Let's ride...can't let those guys in SLO have all the fun!!

So far we have Al the old biker and me.

on the island this weekend, catch up with y'all another time.

just rode kangaroo rd, rocky pt road, and east sooke rd as well as other roads in the area... had a sweet piece with no one in front of me for quite a while: as nice a ride as I've ever had.

will be thinking of you gents tomorrow

 

I'm a no-go also (working). Will ride to work if there is no frost on the ground like this moring

On a side note have you guys checked out the live feed webcam from Reg71's big VFRW reunion on this weekend. Pretty entertaining at times!!

What a day - felt like summer.

Lot of bikes out there. Even the Harleys were waving

 

Excellent guided tour of the lower mainland Bryan!
We did roads that I didn't know existed. I saw cows, pigs, chickens, pickup trucks, a couple of good looking cowgirls and enough farm fields to choke a horse (did I mention horses?)
A pretty decent first ride of the year!

Anyone planning anything over the next couple of weeks? I have a couple of weeks of before starting a new job so can even make a ride during the week.

 

I will give you a shout later. Right now I am giving my butt a bit of a break.

got some nice riding in again this weekend on vancouver island... including a freak hail storm on the way to the ferry at swartz bay this afternoon!

 

Anyone wanna go for a ride this Sat (afternoon) April 25th. First ride of the season for me, I need some babysitters... :baby:

Maybe we can plan the St. Helens route while were at it.

Meet at Wendals in the early after noon, discuss the route and go for a ride?

 

I should be able to make it...earlier the better.

I am in but would prefer earlier in the day.

 

Working Saturday but could squeeze in Sunday if someone is up for it.

 

I get off work about 4am so 1pm would be about the earliest for me on Sat. Sun I could do but would have to be in the late afternoon after 4 sometime. Would have to be one or the other though.
