Givi D200s Spoiler (windscreen) good or bad?

    Hi everyone. First time for me to post a question. I have a '98 and was thinking of replacing the stock windscreen with a taller (18.25") Givi model D200s.
    I'm 5"11" tall and use Heli bars. Any comments pro or con? Thanks

    Well, that's what I have. I used the stock size for a while because I preferred the look, but the helmet buffeting with stock screen and GIVI bars was noticeable. I just did a 600 mile trip with no probs as far as buffeting with the givi. I still don't particularly like the look of it, though...

    Hi Reg, thanks for the info. I looked at your pics and I have to agree with you about the looks of the Givi, however, I think a clear one would look somewhat better. That's what I am looking at...a clear one. Is it very difficult to remove and replace the windshields? BTW, I sure wish Honda made the VFRs with the same kind of electric windshield I have on my Katana 1100. Maybe next time.

    nah, it's pretty straightforward. I think there are two screws on each side on the inside of the windshiled, and then one on each side on the outside. You have to take the mirrors off, though, to reach the one screw outside. It takes about 10 minutes...
