I'm just going to stay away from all the Walmarts in GA especially on the 1st of the month. We have a high Mexican population here. FYI a case has been found here but has not been publicly announced yet. I have a friend in the CDC Don't Take your Kids to any stores or other places like. Its best to keep them at home in their own yard if you can. Children, pregnant women, and the elderly will get the flu faster than an adult. I live in Cobb GA which is also known as little Mexico :/

You'd better stay away from us Ohioans now too, there've been a possible 2 cases found here, but they're still investigating...

I slept with my share of pigs back in my drinking days. I never caught Swine Flu.

I think it's all much ado about nothing. After all, something like 36,000 people die from the ordinary garden variety flu every year, and this Swnie Flu doesn't appear to be anywhere near as virulent. Only the media and "there he goes again" Joe Biden are hyping it beyond all reason.

oh by the way everyone its not called swine flu anymore its new name is!.....H1N1 influenza A, kinda catchy if you ask me as i dug further more into this i have found out that it is possible to recover from this virus..... the only thing that worry's me is my wife with our two unborn children, as pregant women's immune system weaker when they become pregant, as for everything else i do agree with what most of y'all have said but people are stupied ( no one in general ) and what happens to people when they get scared and they panic! so there's something to look forward to

The WHO raising the Pandemic threat level to 5 says otherwise, you are of course correct that the standard "FLU" strains take many lives each year but how many of those are the very old, the already sick or very young that might of died from another Natural cause if not the regular Flu ?

The difference seems to be because this Hybid Virus is previously unknown by the body & young otherwise healthy adults dying of H1N1 swine Flu that normally wouldn't die from Known to the body Flu varients although the good news is the current mortality rate from infected people doesn't appear high.

One positive side effect it has given me good reason to commute to work by VFR rather than public transport.

Could this be a biological weapon?

Maybe this may sound not logical, but in the world we live in...never know!

Oddly enough there is already a conspiricy theory that says the Mexican government released it deliberately to quiet an increasingly agitated local population if so it has worked but if true would mean lynch mobs forming.

LOL @ Biological Weapon... Its funny that you said that. I had a patient to come in yesterday swearing it was the al-Qaeda that released it... LMAO Sad thing was he actually believes it.

The virus would normally die out by the time it reached the 3rd carrier. But it has evolved into this new form, which is more infectious, and lives longer. Thus the spread to many countries. We do have to worry about our children and those who have weak immune systems. This is a dangerous situation. But we should not stop living our lives. Just wash your hands more often if your out in public areas, and do not rub your eyes or nose. If someone next to you is coughing or sneezing, RUUUNNNNNNNN! lol just joking

NO flu is as bad or ugly as Honda's DN-01.

I just saw the beast at a local dealer: the dumbest, most outregeously stupid-looking motorcycle i ever saw!!
No matter what advanced, original technology it may claim, only the truly eccentric would ever consider riding it. Reminds me of a farm tractor !!

WHY, Honda, would you waste your money on this pig??

Squirrelman - You have got to stop holding back and start telling us how you really feel. Don't hold it in! (funny post, though!)

Wellllllll depending on how you look at things, I do have nuts right now... They just belong to someone else and are in my 'tummy'.

Yes, I am aware of how wrong that sounds. And I also accidentally typed "I hate nuts right now"... Freudian slip?
