I am also having a problem with my 04 not starting! Unlike the other posts I've found, mine does not make a "click click click" when I try to start it. It just does nothing! When I put the key in and turn it to the on position, everything works as normal (gauges, lights, accessories, etc.) but the fuel pump doesn't turn on. It has only done this once before, and that was last time I parked it. I tried to get on and ride today and wasn't able to do anything. Last week when I started it up to park it in my shed, it didn't start, but I held the ignition button for several seconds and all of a sudden the fuel pump kicked in and it started right up. I dunno what to do!

    Any help much appreciated!

Is your kill switch working? How is your battery voltage? Check your connections too just in case there is something loose.

You could also check for voltage at your pump to rule out the switch, but check your battery and connections first since it doesn't turn over.

You might want to check the kickstand switch as well.
