Been looking all over, I've seen some Galfer pics of brake hose - line kits. I'm assuming there must be more kits available (?). What mfgr's make the most direct, correct, proper looking aftermarket brake line set up for front and rear. Could any of the 94-97 VFR owners post me some pics. I'd be extremely greatful. Thanks

Russell makes a kit for the rear, costs about $30, IIRC. Order it through your dealer from Parts Unlimited. I haven't gotten mine put on yet or I'd post a pic.

Galfer and Goodridge make a front kit; $100 and $125 respectively. Get the Goodridge from Parts Unlimited, or the Galfer from ebay. I got a sweet deal on the Goodridge so that's what I went with (thanks jeng!).

I've had nothing but grief from Russell. The one I ordered as a direct two line kit showed up as a three line kit that required the junction block. One of the ones (right front) on my car suffered a catastrophic failure, thank God my wife can drive and thought to use the gears and the e-brake to stop safely. I never was happy with them as they have plastic support parts in place of the factory metal ones, and the hoses are quite stiff and add resistance to the suspension action. I now have custom assembled Goodridge from a local bike shop that assembled them, and while I have heard people recommend not going with the threaded ends over swaged ends they have been fantastic, I have them on my RD400 as well. Galfer are top notch and are swaged if you are looking for that, and I'm sure if you are patient to order them the Goodridge factory swaged ones will be great too.

If you can get them, the two line version that has only one from the master to caliper #1, and then a jumper over the fender from caliper #1 to caliper #2 is pretty trick. It routes much cleaner and is a shorter total length of hose so lighter/firmer...

I have Galfer's on my VFR all thew way around, huge improvement over stock. I believe that Speigler also has/seels kits for the VFR.
