Lost a friend on Wednesday

    A good friend of mine (James) was on vacation with his wife around Williams in Arizona. He left her at their camper to take a ride on his Harley late in the afternoon. There was a cop in an SUV who decided to make a u-turn on the open road without looking. James hit the driver side of the SUV and died at the site of the accident. Yes, he was wearing a helmet.

    It's really tough to accept that the stupidity of others can kill the innocent this way. He leaves a wife and daughter who are in total shock at the moment.

    Man I hate hearing these things. Senseless, completely senseless.

    My prayers go out to the family he leaves behind. I also pray for you and all the other friends and extended family that must now cope with this tragedy. Take care...

    My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughter and you as well. And while it's harder to do, they also go to the person that caused this tragic accident and who will have to live with this on their conscience the rest of their lives.

    I am truely sorry . I have lost many friends over the years and all have had a very long lasting effect on me. In time I hope you will think of him and smile while you ride as I do in memory of me friends.
