My bike has just died while driving along 3 times now and I guess the third time was the charm cause it will not restart. I think I have traced the problem down to no power to the fuel pump. Manually jumped pump with a battery charger and it does engage. Any other suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Could there be some kind of relay cutting the power to the pump.

Check the fuel cut off relay and associated connector which is located below the upper cowl on the right side, front, of the bike. Troubleshooting instructions and testing procedure can be found on page 5-56 of the service manual. Service manual can be accessed through the VFR Wiki located by clicking on the VFRInfo link at the top of this page.

    Look in VFR service manual.
There are free links on this site.Just do a search and you'll see.
In general it is helpful to mention what year the bike is.Manual is very good tracing a problem.

sounds more like an electrical problem than a bad pump.

I took the tank off and fuel pump out look it over and jump it with a charger it worked fine. Put it back in and hook all the lines back up did not work played around turning the off and on switch then the pump come on runs right now dont want to ride to far. It like to quit out ove no where.
