Why Klingon ?

    Just curious - why 5 Gen is called Klingon, 6 gen - Origami, etc ? :smile:

    Not sure about klingon, but oragami is obvious if you look at the bike. It looks very much like oragami art.

    yeah, I got the origami thin. I never heard the klingon before. usually if something is compared to a klingon it has to do with their forehead. does the front of a vfr resemble a klingon to someone? it doesn't really to me...

    As Jev said Gen 6 is called Origami due to its sharp lines and folded appearance.

    As reg71 guessed, the Gen 5 is called Klingon due to its bulbous front and mean lights, the nick name was originally given by the Gen 4 folks, personally I don't mind it Klingons are warriers so guess the Gen 4 folks thought it looked tough ?

    Gen4 is called Testarossa for its side cooling slots and NACA ducts.

    We all know what a klingon means..you know those little pieces of TP paper that stick on your B-tt.LOL..

    For a 5th gen. come on.Those 4th folks must have visited puff the magic Dragon one too many times...LOL

    That maybe true or at the time it may have been their way of saying it looked Ugly compared the the NRish lines of the Testarossa to me the Gen5 / Klingons ugly has character and interesting looks .

    Anyway :
