New member, new VFR'r.

Hi all, checking in from Victoria BC, Canada as a new owner and a new member of this site.

Looking forward to lots of reading and discussion.

Thanks for the compliments deep, now I'm curious, do you mean you never see any blue ones in Texas?

Never used a claybar but have been tempted to on several occasions. From what I understand, they're for removing buildup of stuff that doesn't come off with washing. Correct?

Close but no cigar. It came from Savage Cycle in Sidney. They aren't in Sidney for long however as they are moving to Langford near Steve Drane Harley Davidson. Apparently they are going to be done their move by January and will have double the space. Now if they would only become a Honda dealer

 

Thanks. I wasn't sure I wanted blue but now that I've had a bit of time to live with it, I'm glad it's blue as it seems a little less common.

Very nice bike, glad to see you here. I've been learking sense last September and just bought my bike. There is a blue that is offered in Europe and Austraia, wish it was in the US too.

Yes, 2000 model, with 43km on the clock... and yes, I already do love it. Went for a short blast yesterday and ended up in YouBou which is over 100 km away. Amazed that the seat is so comfortable as I was having no issues by the time I returned whereas on my old bike I would have been long suffering.

How long have you had yours?

 

Welcome Bud. If I ever make it over to the Island, there will be yet one more to invite for a ride. We Vancouver bunch should make a point of coming over there.

 

I brought my first VFR at Christmas last year,with 37k on the clock.Now it has 45k.
It`s a beauty!!

In the US we get lesser choices it seems.

 

Sure, I'll show you some of the local twisties...not that they need any additional harassment.

 

Maybe they only send the blue ones where it's cold.:frown: 'cause the color matches the igloos.:biggrin:

 

Yep, and I just came back from selling my old bike and I delivered it for the guy. Man did that suck to ride on the highway after my VFR. Not that there was anything wrong with it, it's just amazing how fast we get used to things. Posted it for sale two days ago and got the cash today.:thumbsup: I just marked the ad sold and the guy that bought it was the only one who responded at all.
