I'm installing the Hondaline top case rack. The right rear bolt was going in hard and I thought it was just old locktite giving me grief so I powered down on it. Next I know, SNAP, and I'm holding the top half of the bolt in my hand. I don't have the tools to get the bolt out so I'm looking at a machine shop. Help?

    Shit

I am very good at this repair but it does require several tools and a lot of practice. You may be better off to seek a machinist as this will be kittens play for him and you don't want to make a mess of it.If you mangle the end of it you will most likely anger the machinist that is going to take it out. When I get called out to remove broken bolts and pins I show no mercy to a customer when I bill it out if they have jacked it up before calling me.If it snapped off before bottoming an easy out most likely will not work, it will have to be loved out or cut out.good luck.

I think i may have cross threaded the damned thing along with snapping it so. Remembering the fun I had During The Chain and Sprocket Incident, I think I'll use a machine shop as I think the think may need rethreading too.

PS: Anybody have the home addy of the guy who designed the "Easy to Install" kit? I'd like a word with him...
