Greetings, all! I haven't owned a streetbike for 15 years or so; the shop where I work (RPM Motorsports Lakewood, CO) took a mint, unmolested, low (12,000) mileage '86 VFR 750 in on trade (for an ATV of all things!) from the original owner. Normally we wouldn't take in something this old, but it's a pretty special piece. I made the terrible mistake of test riding it; so of course now I own it! After a set of new Bridgestones and fluid changes, it's nearly indistinguishable from new. No leaks, no rattles, no issues! I'm pretty pumped; it's going to be hard to keep it low mileage...

Hi and welcome to the group. Sounds like you scored a good find. Probably won't see many that old with so few miles. But then I could be wrong.
