Hey everyone! Thought I'd introduce myself now that I've got one of these wonderful beauties. I've ridden for over 25 yrs but have not had a bike for about 8 years. My last two wheeled Honda was a 1986 Magna that I owned for many years but sold because I wasn't riding much. This week I purchased a 2007 VFR Candy Dark Red from a nearby private seller. I'm lovin' the bike! Here's a picture:

Drewl, love your 2000 yellow VFR. I would have purchased that year/color if I could have found one at a good price with low miles.

Thanks everyone! Still getting used to riding again, this bike has a ton of power and I like the low end grunt. Gear shifts are wonderfully smooth and quick. It feels so light and nimble it's hard to believe the bike weighs 500+ lbs, Honda did a great job all around with this one.

Still feeling out the VTEC engagement and the FI, I have no issue with either one, it's just something that is unique to this bike that will take a little getting used to.

No major mods for me except maybe a Sargent seat.

Yes, I like having a clean garage! LOL
