Well, you're on the mend and I hope your VFR can recover too. You should grab the Fucking Deer, get it processed and eat the B****H! I can happily recommend a few sauces you'd love! I hate Fucking Deer, all Fucking Deer and here's why: In '96 a Fucking Deer on the right side of the road aimed into the woods u-turned, jumped in front of me and took out my 6 month old car. Next, insurance paid off Blue Book value, not loan balance (SCREW YOU ALLSTATE). To top it off, I had to sell my beloved (and paid for) 90 CBR1000F to cover the shortfall and replace the car. To this day, I have a shirt with a pic of Bambi jumping in front of an M-1 Abrams with the driver saying "Wreck THIS, B***H!"

PS: I hate to ask, but could you post pics of the damaged gear, so we can see what worked and what didn't?

Damn, bro. That sucks. I hate to see any rider down and I wish you a speedy healing process. Did you kick that deer's ass after taking that pic for disrespecting the VFR by jumping out in front of it?

Seriously, heal fast. Glad to hear it isn't more serious.

I also haven't had the pleasure of meeting you in person yet but, I do feel I've gotten to know you a little through all of your posts. I usually pay closer attention when you have something to say, so I hope you get your typing finger  back soon! I wish you the best and a speedy recovery. Take care...

Good thing it was a small deer, looks like its just outa fawnhood, they are thick around here too. Do you think full leathers would have helped instead what you were wearing?

Boy are you in some deep trouble. First of all do you have a hunting license? Is it even hunting season up there? Plus it was a doe and not a buck. Then there is the whole PETA thing that you are going to have to deal with.... Really glad that you are ok. Sorry about the bike but at least you are around to get another one. Get well soon and keep us posted on the healing process.

Sorry to hear about your crash. Good thing is you are all right and will heal. Looked to be a nice clean VFR. But that can be replaced. Lay back and relax if you can. Pain pills works wonders with the hurting.

Same thing almost happen to me last week on my trip. Came within 5-10' of hitting a much bigger deer around 40mph after a handful of brake. I was lucky I had just enough time to avoid it.

Glad to hear you will be allright, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Every time I see some (usually young) person zipping by on a (usually sportbike) motorcycle wearing t-shirt and shorts, I wonder if they have any idea of what would happen in a situation like this.

It's a good reminder to me to always wear my protective gear, even when it's hot, even when I don't feel like it.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR JAY!!!!

Should I send over your b-day present now or later? Oh, and I do have to say that she was a tad disappointed that the "stache" has been tamed.....maybe, well, maybe, the "stache" was "the force" for you.....it is calling...listen, listen carefully....

    Caution before you scroll down....

Alexandria says HI and wishes you are happy birthday and speedy recovering. She said to let her know if she can be of any help.....not sure what she meant by that.... :spankme: hahaha
