used pieces

i just puchased my very first motorcycle in my life ,a 1991 vfr750 .The problem is that the previous owner thought he mite like a custom paint job...big mistake,his buddy painter the bike to look like a fly hit .The bike is now white with two huge airbrushed eyes on the lower fairing ,the problem is that the painter put on gallons of paint and clear and is now flaking off in a big way .i m looking for a source of used fairing up here in canada.i hav tried sanding but to not much luck.any help would be appreciated

Used, decent fairings are almost impossible to find for any VFR, so take off pieces and do what d.d. suggests.

Or go to airtech-streamlining. They have 4th gen, in fiberglass.

Or get you stock stuff media blasted. Very gentle, I hear.
