Just got back from the Dr. on another part of the body that was slightly in pain and didn't seem to be getting better. Some areas are healing up pretty good, but not the right foot, during all the commotion in the ER my foot never bothered me, it wasn't till the next morning when I got out of bed and put weight on it that it told me awe another part of me wasn't right. I took a look didn't see anything other than the big toe was a bit swollen, sure enough when the wife took a look from the bottom side it was all purple. ok figure I stubbed it in all the thrashing and left it at that, besides, I know there's not a lot to be done to toes anyway, no need to rack up more of a bill. Well yesterday it didn't feel any better or look I figured at the least have it looked at  Broken in three places. Dr. said man you really took an impact, LOL No Doh! anyway it's broken where the muscle and tendons hook up, so the whole lower part of my leg needs to be in a cast %^*#! six weeks, egads. if that's not enough, next week I'm going back to a hand specialist about my right hand, Thumb in particular I have two torn ligaments that need to be put back. Oh my Lord, I tell yea, Wear the right Gear Please!!! thanks for letting me rant even though I don't feel better. it could be way worse.

FCUK RVFR you did take a good tumble. 6 weeks in a cast sucks enough but eventually you'll get better. Again at least you are here to rant. Get better then when you do post picks of you on the new bike in the new gear!!!!

Damn Jay, you did it up right! Hope it doesn't take any longer the 6 weeks in the cast to get healed up.

Much as I know it is a pain both literally and otherwise I am just glad you can rant. I know s--t happens but it doesn't feel any better while it is. Hang in there.

Considering the beating that you took what else is there to say that your one lucky man. Your gear did wonders obviously. Some impacts just can't be absorbed unless your in a Michelin man suit I guess. Sounds like you have some good docs taking care of ya. Really.. there's other ways to get off work man...

Thanks for the encouraging words.. New bike and gear? Yea man it's almost the only thing that gets me through the day with out going crazy, add in I can't pilot thy helicopter makes this double jeopardy, but thinking how much worse it could of been gets thinking, hey I ain't to bad, LOL after I saw a dude sorta walk out of the office in a 3/4body suit with pins in his neck and chin, gave me goose bumps. talk about a wake up call, once I saw that reminder,, I'm a freaking miracle. sheesh! still need to get it off my chest, thanks for listening or in this case reading.
Sad to say but Tomorrow I say by to the VFR ,as my insurance is taking it away, to much damage to make it worth as a buy back. I had it in mind to keep it, but after I saw that the rear frame just above the swing arm pivot has a hair line crack in the casting, not worth it. So to Progressive I say thank you for treating me more than fair. They will get my business again.

That's what you get for wearing flip flops, ya SQUID!!!!

Just kickin' ya while you're down. Just take it easy while you recover so you can get back in the air and on 2 wheels again. Good luck.

    SUCK IT UP JAY!

Seriously. You gotta get that shit fixed and fixed right. If you don't, it is likely to haunt you big time later. Here all we worry about is fixing the bikes. Medicare takes care of the other stuff.

Appologies for the grainy photo. 110 instamatic. Anyone remember those?
