Welcome! A friend of mine had the same year. He sold it to a friend with over 110k on it two years ago. That friend is still riding it. It has only had typical oil changes, tires, break pads, etc.

She is definitely an awesome bike.

I have noticed that in turns she likes to stand up somewhat easier than my Ninja. I guess its just getting used to wider tires and handlebar position.

Other than that, man that whine and exhaust is something else, DAMN!!

Welcome aboard sir! I hate to break the bad news to you but yellow isn't the fastest color!! It's still a very sexy bike and I'm sure you'll love her for years to come! How many miles on her? Did you get a good deal. Just curious if you ride with full gear in the hot Texas weather.

    Regards,
    Rollin

Thanks for the props and the welcome!

She has about 15900 miles and I got her for $3500 from a friend of mine in Round Rock, Tx. I have to say she is pretty decent condition, just typical road grime and small scratch on the left side edge of the fairing.

I do ride full gear: helmet, boots, gloves and jacket, mesh and textile depending on the temp. Yes, there were days when I said "to heck with it" and I took my truck to work.
