They made other colors in '07 besides RWB?

Definitely go with the RWB. Just picked up a new one myself. Haven't had a VFR since pre VTEC days. Used to own the VFR700 in RWB. You'll be glad you went with the RWB. Trust me, the looks and admiration are worth it.

I say go with fuchsia... it'll definitely be original... maybe not as much as the joker bike, but hey... it's a start...

I had the same dilemma, I really like the RWB, but ended up buying the CDR. Reasons:

    1) Even though the RWB lists for $500 more, I find most dealers will sell either one for the same price. Not sure if there is a difference in the invoice price.

    2) I like the blacked out frame on the RWB.

    3) The DCR looks much more classy, less like a "crotch rocket".

    4) If you are thinking about hard bags you can't purchase CDR bags in the US. I'm not sure how hard it is to find blue hard bags. If I get a set I'd probably have to purchase a used set of red bags and repaint them CDR.

I really like both available colors and had a choice of either used in my area. I like the CDR because in person it's a great looking bike and pictures don't do it justice. Also consider if you want ABS, if the dealer has a CDR with ABS for a similar cost as a non-ABS RWB, I'd again choose the CDR.

You can't go wrong with either color. IMO, the RWB is classic and the red is classy.

    A few minor factors:
-If you have to touch up the paint, seems like it would be less of a PITA on the solid color bike.
-There seem to be far more '07 RWBs out there now than '07 reds, so if you're a non-conformist you'd likely be in the minority with the red bike.
-Tho the red is beautiful, it won't match any red riding gear or red trimmed gear/accessories you'll ever buy.

I say buy something without VTEC and linked brakes, like an early VFR or a Triumph Sprint.

    Hard Bags

    V4,

I just purchase a new 07' three weeks ago and ordered the matching hard bags from Honda. I am located in Ohio and there was no issue getting the hard bags. Not sure why you are saying you can not get these in the US?

Scotty V, Not sure if this makes it any easier but I just saw a RWB brand new from a dealership on ebay. Buy it now price...a very cool $6990. Another '07 red new $6895. Both out of New Jersey so shipping or picking it up should be a pretty minimal afair for a guy in Mas.
