full coverage (since the bike is still financed) through Progressive, 35 and married, no accidents or tickets, and this is the only policy I carry through Progressive: $189 for the whole year.

As a point of interest...I carry all my auto and house insurance through Allstate and spoke directly with my agent about bike insurance. I matched everything on Progressive's website with what he had set for limits...with everything identical Progressive was about $225 and Allstate was about $900 for the year. So, when your allstate agent says, you should get Progressive, you know there is a major difference. I think allstate views the bike as a rocket ship where progressive knows more about the type of people who ride a VFR...but then again, if they just read this website....hmmmmm
