so just curious what kind of insurance are you guys caring and what kinda payment is it. (yes i realize it is different for everyone)
44 yrs old, married, 5 points 2006 Ducati 999s $425/year full coverage 1992 VFR $125/yr liability only Geico
24, Unmarried 99 VFR Liability only $88/year Cycle Insurance (local) which is an underwrite for Foremost insurance i think
full coverage (since the bike is still financed) through Progressive, 35 and married, no accidents or tickets, and this is the only policy I carry through Progressive: $189 for the whole year. As a point of interest...I carry all my auto and house insurance through Allstate and spoke directly with my agent about bike insurance. I matched everything on Progressive's website with what he had set for limits...with everything identical Progressive was about $225 and Allstate was about $900 for the year. So, when your allstate agent says, you should get Progressive, you know there is a major difference. I think allstate views the bike as a rocket ship where progressive knows more about the type of people who ride a VFR...but then again, if they just read this website....hmmmmm
i was told that i could not carry full coverage on my 86 but i could carry maxed out liability but it is like 2100 a yr.
