I think that you're off to a good start with this instrumental, but that said, this tune seems to never quite get off the ground and take flight.

By the way, is one of your musical influences Travis Larson? (Travis Larson Band)

Also, are you by any chance playing an Ibinez guitar here?

I am a total newbie in guitar. No formal training.I am what you call total amateur.
I never heard of Travis Larson but I'll check him out.
I was playing EPI LP with POD line 6 UX1 preset to "minor sweeps"
I am very happy with UX1 since you have ton of choices in amps, paddles etc.
Right now I am trying to learn to solo.Phrasing and being in the right key.
    Thanks for listenning

I love Jazz and Blues and I am no expert. I live in the greater Louisiana area. (Very soon to be a resident of the N. Houston area) That being said you do have talent...and of course, their is a but... Jobless blues sounds great!!! Unfortunately the background music is louder than the guitar. On all the songs leave out the echo. Its like you are trying to hide something in your playing. Medford blues try and slow down. Its like you are trying to rush through the cords with no rythm. Blues minor the guitar is also more background than forefront. Slow down the guitar around 1:10 sec. Sounds good though. Fall weather, Med jazz, Mid east, Z river I really don't get. Again on all those the guitar is in the background. Just another day sounds like its out of the 80s. I think its the echo. Leave out the synthasizer and I would love to hear it without the echo to give it an honest listen. I hope this helps. Good luck on your career. BTW how do you ride the Veeeefer and play? Now that would be sick talent!

Soundn pretty good but I'm with Rover. Its a good lead in to a change to a main melody of vocals or power instrument melody lead.

I agree about the echo....and the Just another day was played on 80's BT.
I lost my job recently so trying to get the stress out of me.The song covers are my paintings. While I am a amateur guitarist I've been painting and drawing practically all my life.
I appreciate your constructive criticism. If I don't get a job by early spring I must sell my loved mint 1998 VFR.I need cash.I am sort of feeling being squeezed in the vise...
