Am I the only one that appreciates Sammy Hagar's "I can't drive 55"?

I don't believe motorcycles were around when Richard Wagner wrote Ride of the Valkyries but any song that goes well with an air assault on a beach covered with unfriendlys has got to work on the twisties. I had a turbo Trans Am in Germany back in the early 80s and would listen to it while driving on the Autobahn with no speed limit. Unfortunately that big V8 gas guzzler was one of the slowest cars on the road, topping out at about 120. I would love to take my VFR over there and see how fast it will go, legally. YouTube - Apocalypse Now - The Ride Of The Valkyries
I stand corrected apparently there was a two wheeled steam driven motorcycle in 1867, several years before Wagner died.

There are two basic options for riding a Valkyrie. See a Honda dealer or go to Inga's in Stockholm.

"Ghost Rider" - RUSH (Vapor Trails). About as true, personal & tragic a song gets about motorcycling. Check out the book by the same name for a great read about the devastating tragedy & journey of RUSH's drummer (Neil Peart), a serious motorcycle (and car) enthusiast. While not a particular favorite RUSH song for me, it captures the subject. For more fun, check out anything else from RUSH (1974 - 2007) for your listening & riding pleasure...
