Anyone else notice the manual missing pages 8-9 through 8-11: camshaft disassembly? Also, the lower half of page 8-8 is missing. I'm trying to get the info from the assembly section, but hope I don't miss any pertinent info. The assembly section instructs one to turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the "3T" mark on the ingnition pulse generator rotor with the index mark on the right crankcase cover. And to make sure the No. 3 piston is at TDC on the compression stroke.

Do I have to have the crankshaft in any particular position to remove the camshaft holer or camshafts?

I think the "other" site has a posting with the missing pages...you're not the first to notice. There is a thread floating around here somewhere but I can't remember for the life of me what it was about/titled. Maybe someone else can chime in with more info.

    Check this thread:
    27027-5th-gen-service-manual-pages-missing.html

Try grabbing the manual from here:
vfrdiscussion > Forums > Downloads Owners Manuals and other (page 4)
    Service Manual Part A
    Service Manual Part B
